The prints ads were definitely different to the usual stale corporate visions most companies delivered, and some of that print “character” and “fun” did transfer to the TV spots (pun intended). Of course, there were changes in style along the way, and Gateway also became stuffy and serious sometimes too, after all, corporate accounts prefer just the facts most of the time and don’t need a cow telling them the price and specs of a server system.
